Bigtooth puts a heavy emphasis on songwriting, performing original bluegrass-inspired music alongside thoughtfully chosen traditional material and delivered with high-energy musicianship and three-part harmonies.

Over the past couple of years, we've had the opportunity to open for nationally recognized acts, including The Del McCoury Band at Madison's historic Barrymore Theatre, and we've toured internationally, most recently including a headliner slot Ireland's Westport Folk & Bluegrass Festival alongside Alex Leach and Vickie Vaughn. We also played several community concert events in 2026, including Mt. Horeb's Wed Night Live, The Mirror Lake State Park Concert Series, and the Sun Prairie Public Library's Monday Night Music Event - these were all incredible experiences and we are excited to continue bringing our music to more communities throughout the Midwest in 2027.
